Greg Mix is a veteran architect with over 32 years of experience. He has been a Registered Architect in the State of Georgia since 1982. Before starting is own firm in 1989 Mr. Mix worked as a project architect for seven different commercial architectural firms. He is a member of various professional associations including the American Institute of Architects and the American Institute of Building Designers. He also holds a certificate from NCARB which gives him reciprocity in other states should your project fall outside of Georgia.

A historic commercial mixed use rehab for a historic building in Opelika, Alabama.
The design challenge was to re-face the existing openings with cut limestone of cast stone with a rusticated neo-classical facade, on the first floor and add a decorative wrought iron porch to the second floor front facade. Downtown Opelika once had these types of wrought iron porches up until the tornado of 1947 (see below).
